18th Annual Business Awards Luncheon

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce (OAACC) and Foundation we would like to invite you to become a sponsor of our 18th Annual Business Awards Luncheon benefiting Oakland’s Black business community. This premier event will be held on Thursday, October 21st, 11:00 am -1:30 pm, at Scott’s Seafood Restaurant in Oakland’s Jack London Square. The event will be both in person and virtual. We are, however encouraging all participants that plan to attend in person be fully vaccinated with a show of proof.
This year’s theme, “Leveraging Our Power for Equitable Opportunities for Businesses Owners”.
Since its inception, the OAACC has served as the leader in advocating for access to business opportunities in the private and public sectors for the African American business community. We envision an inclusive and thriving local business community that supports and values the contributions of its Black-owned businesses. Our relationships with industry, government, education and faithbased organizations assist us in advancing our mission to:

• Advocate: Provide professional, inclusive, and relevant advocacy for minority-owned businesses in the Oakland
Bay Area.
• Educate: Empower historically low-income and underrepresented communities of color through business
workshops and programming, and
• Grow: Create opportunities for businesses to increase their network and revenue.
