Angela Moore, MBA – Bio

Biogrophy

Angela Moore has more than twenty years of public sector experience and holds a master’s degree in public administration from Cal State East Bay and a bachelor of arts degree in government from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. She has excelled in various leadership roles within the City of Oakland’s Neighborhood Services Division. Currently, Angela is the Neighborhood Service Supervisor for staff that work in North, Central and West Oakland. She and her staff support the city’s business corridors and surrounding communities. Ms. Moore also leads the City of Oakland’s National Night Out events citywide.

 

She served as a program and executive director in the nonprofit sector dedicated to providing much needed services and resources to the City of Richmond’s opportunity challenged residents. Ms. Moore is dedicated to serving the community, forming viable and necessary partnerships with individuals, businesses, community advocates, nonprofit organizations, Oakland Police Department, Oakland Fire Department as well as other departments within the city. Angela sits on the Contra Costa Juvenile Hall Auxiliary Board; she is a member of the illustrious organization, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which she serves on the Regional Program Committee; and a member of San Francisco Bay Area Chapter Chums, Incorporated.

 

Ms. Moore will bring her extensive departmental management, business, and nonprofit expertise to focus on ensuring that the OAACC’s vision and tools help members to succeed in their community and to support the advancement of economic opportunities in the African American community.
